For Camla
Hey girl! Here are some personal recommendations & styles for everyday outfits.
I'm not sure where you're at on your fitness journey, so these are more general
options that I recommend instead of styles that cater to a specific body type - hopefully it's a helpful starting point so you can find styles that you love!
I've linked everything in the photos, but honestly those are mostly to show you examples since I'm not sure where you prefer to shop. I personally would look for those styles at places like TJMaxx, Nordstrom Rack, H&M, Target, etc because they'll have better prices.
Wrap Dresses
Wrap dresses are also great, because they give a little more shape to your figure than sweater dresses, but you get to control how tight it is around the waist. I've been staying away from bodycon dresses and other styles that hug a little too tight, because if I have to suck in the whole time I'm wearing it, I'll never wear it again (lol). If you stick with neutral colors, these are also a wardrobe staple because you can wear them with most kinds of jackets & shoes.
High-Waisted Relaxed Jeans
Jeans really vary by person, but I love the high-waisted relaxed jean trend. It's flattering around your waist/bum but it's relaxed throughout your leg so they're comfy (and less stiff than standard straight-leg). Because they're loose at the bottom, they go great with heels, sneaks & low boots (like hiking boots). Pair it with a sweater, just tuck in the front, and you've got a cute fit. Can also pair with most body suits.
High Rise 90s Relaxed Jean - Abercrombie
(90% sure these are the jeans I bought from Target. They're pretty long on me but look short on the model, so hard to tell. But they're the comfiest jeans ever and I always get complimented on them)
High-Waisted Satin Skirts
These jazz up any outfit - bonus points if there's a thigh slit! They're sexy without much effort. I love wearing an oversized knit sweater and lightly tucking the front, with a high-waisted satin skirt and some knee-high boots. You can also wear a t-shirt and tie the front in a knot with some sneaks.
Also, tweed high-waisted mini skirts / skorts are super cute too with an oversized sweater and knee-high boots!
Cute Outerwear
Nylon Bomber Jacket - Abercrombie
Honestly, Shein (this link should open directly to their jackets) has so many super cute jackets for great prices, but they're starting to get a bad rap for their business practices haha so this one might be a moral dilemma but still great options.
Places I like to Shop
All you need now is to pair these with basics already in your closet (sweaters, long-sleeves, t-shirts, jackets) and you've got a bunch of different outfit options that look stylish but took minimal effort! I pretty much live in oversized sweaters & hoodies and high-waisted jeans or skirts. I just do a little light tuck in the front to make it a little more flattering so it doesn't look so baggy. Otherwise, I throw on a dress & jacket and call it a day. If you want some browsing inspiration, here are some of the places I like to shop!
Shoes & Boots: Macy's & JCPenney's tend to have great sales!
